radion question

I'm currently running the preset radiant program on my two gen 2's.They are over a 80 gallon deep blue rimless at 12" above the water.Everything seems to be doing good but not the growth I was expecting with these lights.My question is should I run them longer than 10 hrs on the radiant program?I have the max brightness set at 50% right now.The reason I ask is because I see the "Jon graph" runs 13hrs.

The radient program is for max colors. Thats what I run too. You want the "High Growth" template. And i would think 10 hrs is plenty. But if I was looking for max growth I'd ramp up the brightness gradually to about 80% or so. IME

I love the blue color of the radiant though.

Yep so do I. They make everything just GLOW!! Especially during the first and last couple of hours and lunar phase

Erndog how long do you run yours?

I have mine come on @ 10:45 am and then ramp down @ 9:00 pm to the moon phase for 2 hrs till 11:00 pm. They are set @ 85% intensity and I am currently utilizing the traditional reef template. I am seeing an amazing growth rate with them. I will add that I switched over to the radion g2 around late march, and started seeing the growth take off about 3 months ago. I did have a huge green hair algae outbreak that took about 2-3 months to get under control and eliminated. One it was gone the corals took off like crazy. I will also add that I do dose as well. Prior to the radio a I was running ecorays 112d and not seeing the growth that I am currently. As a side note I am doing the same now as before the switch to radions.

Erndog how long do you run yours?

Well like I said I'm using the Radiant template although I've modified it some.
The first 2 come on at 6:30 am
6 min later using Traveling Sunrise the other 2 come on.
East-->West of course lol
They come up slowly until they reach full intensity around noon. Right now I have them set to 70%.
Eventually I'm gonna ramp up to about 90% I haven't really decided yet where I'll stop.
Ok so they stay at full for just under 2 hrs. Then a slow downward slope until 7 pm
Lunar phase starts then until 10:15pm Full Moon intensity is 20%. But I'm thinking that's kind of bright So next time I get the laptop over here I'm gonna drop it down to 15%
