Raising fry, expensive or not?

How expensive is raising fry about?

Is there only certain clowns that will spawn?
I have a pair of true percula clowns, don't know how long it will take before they start spawning though or if they do.

raising fry is pretty expensive unless you do it on the wayy cheap like home cultures of rotifiers,copepods,phytoplankton(most likely nannocloropis(sp?)) also you would only get to raise one batch every 6-12 months and thats constant water changes and feeding so tell me is it worth it?

Picking up a copy of Joyce Wilkerson's book "Clownfishes" will give you a better idea of what it takes the raise the fry, and you can pick it up on Amazon for around 20 bucks. I ordered a copy the other day just to do some research.
