i got a 90 g reef started up last fall. ig a mix of sps and lps with some xenia and a leather. all corals seem to be doing great. everytime i seem to buy a fish something else dies. last time i bought a false blenny and next day it croaked and my blue hippo died as well. but none others. shrimps and clam seem to thrive. is there a diesiese that kills with no external que's? or is it that all my local petstores are sick selling hacks?

Lots of them. And pet stores generally do nothing about parasites. But they always have fish in their system, always new coming in and going out.

If you figure every fish has an aveage of 37 different parasites when collected, and each fish brought into the store infects all the other fish in the system, over and over again. theoretically every fish at the LFS could be a carrier of every parasite ever out there in the wild.
