randy's balanced kh vinegar recipe

would you please give us balanced solution ( calcium hydroxide + vinegar )

so i can added it without kh depletion

i got idea about mixing 1 litre of vinegar with 5 table spoon of calcium hydroxide so the impact would be zero kh consupmtion when added to the tank

Increase kalk by 36% ,a little extra is ok as it will settle out undissolved, to maintain full saturation when adding 48ml of vinegar per gallon of fresh water. Any lesser increment of this combination applies, eg. 12 ml vinegar per gallon of fresh water with a 9% increase in kalk to 2.2 tsps.

i am not using the topoff way for dosing

i need to manually dose it .... should i daily add 1 gallon of fresh water directly to the sump ?

I don't think there's any measurable dKH depletion with vinegar. The dose is too small. There would be a very small drop initially, but the dKH would rise back up as the organic acid is consumed.
