Mike, I will ask you the same question I asked Jim and maybe you can help me out here. Where in the eBay listing is a statement that is dishonest or fraudulent? Again please only quote what was actually written not what you think was said or what others have felt. You are correct, the seller could not back up the statement that the anemone is rare but the fact that no one here on RC (64,000+ members) and reefs.org (16,000+ members) can say they have even seen one similar has, in my mind at least, solidified that it is rare. Legitimate? That is yet to be seen. And how would you suggest he solidify that it is rare.
First of all, my point was not to call PitBull a liar; rather, I think he sucks at putting stuff on Ebay. Here's my response to what you posted above: can ANY of these statements from the Ebay listing be proven:
You are bidding on an exceptionally rare bright orange bubble anemone.
If you think our minimum price is too high, than you donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t know how rare these really are.
This will be the focal point of your tank.
The color is more brilliant than anything else available for salt water fish tanks.

Yes, lots of listings on Ebay are full of BS and sales jargon, but when you're selling a $1200 anemone, you need a decent pic of the anemone, and not just a sales pitch.
He said a bunch of stuff he can't back up AND he doesn't have a good pic.
Two more questions, jdallred.
1) Based on the Ebay auction, and only the Ebay auction, would you believe that anemone is worth $1200, or would you believe it's just another RBTA worth about $50.
2) The seller said he sold two of them for $1500 each. Do you think either of those people would have bought them for $1500 if all they saw was the Ebay auction? He really can't back up anything he said in the auction, he can't even get a decent picture.
I will give him props for not doctoring the pics with photoshop. But how can anyone put a $1200 anemone on ebay with a pic that looks like a RBTA (not even a good RBTA), claim it's rare when he has 3 and already sold 2 (why not include customer references), and expect to be taken seriously? Who makes $3000 selling a pair of anemones and can't get a decent pic taken?
Why doesn't someone just go over and take a decent pic? I PM'd one CO reefer and asked him to do so; he said he's busy but will try in a few days. Get a good pic, make a few people eat their words.
