Rare Gobies/Blennies and Where to Buy Them

Hi this is my first post on reef central, but I've been reading this forum for awhile now. I've been looking for some rare gobies on the Internet and couldn't find anywhere to buy one. The fish would be going into a 10 gallon Macroalgae/softie tank. So the fish would have to be kind of small.

Gobies/Blennies that I would like:
Flaming Prawn Goby (Discordipinna griessingeri)
Magnificent Goby (Flabelligobius sp.)
White Cap Goby (Lotilia graciliosa)
Gulf Signal Blenny (Emblemaria hypacanthus)

Also feel free to make any suggestions for my nano tank. Please point towards where I can find any of these small nano fish

LA DD has those gobies from time to time. As for the gulf signal blenny, I don't know if they are even collected. I did a search and found none in captivity. However, if you do find a collector, PM me because that is a dream fish for me.

Thank you for the replies. I'll make sure to pm you, @jraker, if I ever find a supplier for the gulf signal Blenny. They are such beautiful fish!

Also does anyone have a different recommendation for my tank. There would only be 1-3 fish max. Any fish that would thrive and live comfortably in a 10 gallon nano that is interesting to look at.

A trio of Hi Fin Red Bandeds?
I love me some Gobies and Blennies. These three are protected by a Twin Spot.

Wonderfull!!!

I order 2 little specimens, one die during transport... the other find my Randalli shrimp and live à perfect love story :)

Do you think is possible to add some others time to time?

Go to every LFS you can find, talk to the owners, give them your list. If you are willing to pay what is required for a rare fish, I'm sure they will keep an eye out for you. They buy fish every week.

Just watch the hi fins escaping.. I thought something ate mine years ago when I had my nanocube and found him living in the back chamber 4 months later..

Yeah, I'm going to ask every LFS around here. There is one LFS that orders exclusively from ORA and QualityMarine that I believe I will have the best luck. I've got some really nice fish from them, lots of rare, difficult fish that all eat frozen foods.

Have you looked at nyaquatic.com

Yes, I've checked that site out already or maybe I'm no checking correctly. Thanks for the help though.

Does anyone have a suggestion. Maybe something not a goby or blenny, in case I can't find the rare fish I'm looking for. I'm not necessarily looking for rare fish. Just something out of the ordinary.

I might go with some eviota/trimma/masked gobies if I can find some locally. How many do you think I could have in a 10 gallon tank

LOL with one for your avatar I figured you already had one.
