My huge 10" across RBTA likes to sit in front of the vortech, with it's tentacles flailing in the current. Problem is that occasionally a tentacle will come off, the current is probably too strong.
If I turn down the powerhead too much or move it, the anemone starts to walk away. It probably likes the current. In addition to fresh O2 and plenty of flow, it also managed to nab and eat a tiny blue chromis and a small royal gramma in the past two months.
If I keep it where it is, it will loses a tentacle every week or so. The tentacles are growing back, and the new ones appear to be a bit thicker and shorter than the old.
Is this a problem?
The anemone hosts one mean female true perc and her false perc mate. She actually feeds the nem, so it's a good match.
Water params are nothing out of the ordinary.

380 calcium

0.1 phosphates
80.1 temp

Here's a pic when I first bought the nem 6 months ago. It has at least doubled in size since then.
