RBTA and maroon pair question

i have a pair of maroons, female about 2.75" and male just over 1". they are calm, especially for maroons, and happy together. they were hosting my open brain until my PT started killing it. i took brain out, and am replacing it w/ an aproximately 5" or so RBTA on wed. should this be a sufficient size for the maroons?

it should be - that was about the size ratio of mine when I paired the maroons with the RBTA (my BTA was actually about 4")

Just keep the BTA well fed and it will grow. Mine went from 4" to 7" in about 3 months feeding it twice a week!
