well that looks a lot better than I thought...
the only thing I would reconsider is whether or not to put it back in the acclimation box to keep the clown away until it fully heals...

It's in a box in the picture. That pic was from last night, this morning it did not look so good. When i moved the box a bit so that it can get more flow, I saw lots of broken pieces floating out.

No worries =) So it seems that half of the head has been cut off but the entire foot is okay.

A very small part of the mouth has been damaged as well.

So I just got an update on the condition of the anemone. It's in the breeder box at this time and it was upside down with the tentacles hanging through the slits on the bottom and the fix ate them! The anemone still have many left but it's not looking good at this point. I will be setting up the 10 gallon tonight with plenty of flow and hopefully it makes it =/

it may already be too late :(
if the body is like a gooey jelly and you smell an awful smell....IMO...dispose of it

If you have not yet I would run some carbon and maybe a water change if your tank is still that cloudy. The chopped up anemone going through the pump releases toxins into the water column. I had one that looked like yours in the last pic, it was a goner once it spilled its guts

I think you have a good chance for its survival if must of the mouth is there. Good luck, I am hoping for the best.

Thank you guys, I still have hope for it! The first pictures were from the day I moved the tank from my dining room to living room so that's why the water was cloudy. It has since cleared up. I have changed the Rox .8 carbon and also replaced the GFO and did a water change all last night. I think best bet would be to just do the 10 gal as soon as I get home.

I just really wish it would pull through =( It's my first rose bubble and I've been saving to get it ever since I gave my green carpet away due to it eating a few of my fish!

sigh...wish the rbta were cheaper

Just paid $80 for mine here in Montgomery, AL...

Reading this thread now has me worried as I just added him to my tank last night. Going home to check on him with hopes that he stayed away from my 3 powerheads.

Best of luck, Man!!!

Thanks, and yes please cover your powerheads until it settles in a bit. I made the mistake of listening to the lfs people and i lost out on a lot of money and the worse part is the animal suffered.

When I got home, my maroon clown had hopped into the breeder where the nem was and she was hosting it -.- dummy BUT the nem actually looked happy and the foot had grabbed onto the magnet cleaner which was holding the breeder afloat.

I decided to remove the nem and put it in a pico tank as the 10 gal was very very dirty and the 20g is not available. I have a tiny water pump from a fountain and a tiny heater so I placed both as well as some rock into the tank. Let's hope it recovers.

I will replace the water each morning and night and hope it works.

P.S it looked much more happy when the clown was hosting it...
