Use carbon and water chjanges to get it all out of your tank and not increase any paramerters.
Get foam covers for the PH. I lost one to my mp40 back over the summer. Was on vacation and the foam cover slipped off. I have since taught the fish sitter what to look for and how to replace things like that.

Just picked that up for $100 ...what do you guys think? It's very small like 2". My maroon is bigger than the nem lol and she still tries to wedge herself into it.
It's currently on attached to that rock and it's been there since Friday evening. So far go good! Really excited because the colors look amazing. I just wish I had the skill to capture it's true color because it looks washed out.
Any tips on when to feed it and what to feed it? I tried to feed it some frozen food. It was a mix of Mysis, Krill, and super tiny red things...Not sure what the name is but its super small and they look like tiny bugs.
The tentacles held onto the food but it never really took the food it, the food just floated away after a few minutes.
BTW, I got that blue coral in the front...anyone know what it is? It keeps multiplying and getting larger.

I agree the new nem is bleached. $200 and $100 for standard roses where your from huh. That's outrageous.guess its all about location.
Do some research on bleached BTA's to try to get it to color up.
P.S I would look to local reefers on here to buy your coral off of your LFS is ripping you off.
Tanks looks pretty new to have a nem in it IMO.. How old is the tank?

I know my local shops are crazy expensive and sub par coral quality. I will def try to order online from now on. The tank looks new because I moved it from my dining room to my living room at which time I had to empty out the tank. The process was only about 3hrs long. The rock was dried out because I had a crazy outbreak of majano like hundreds of em.
The sand is about 2 years old but I topped it off with some fresh sand just to make it look new again.
Btw, I saw a youtube video of a guy that has the exact same coloration on his nem and he said that the lfs had it for several months and it split twice with the same color nems. He ended up taking it home and with optimal conditions the nem remained the same. He said something about nems being bleached on purpose to obtain those color morphs but this way the colors would be permanent. Not sure if that is a correct statement but let's see what happens to this one.
So far it has not moved much from the initial spot I placed him in. It still has bubbly tips and looks like it's doing well. I have not tried to feed it again since the last time (4 days ago). I think I will try some talapia today. What do you guys think?
I will try to study up on some nem bleaching but any quick tips/facts you can throw my way about getting it healthy again would be much appreciated.

I would use sea food (salt water fish). Talapia is a fresh water fish, I would not recommend use it to feed salt water animals. I am not 100% certain but there may be a little problem there. I know that feeding Lion fish gold fish and other fresh water feeder fish isn't good for them. Something about fatty liver.
