Here's a pic of RBTA that was shipped to me on the 29th of Jan...

As you might guess... I was less than impressed with the condition it arrived in. After contacting the vendor, I was told, "They can and do usually recover from that." So that gave me a little hope... and covered them for their "arrive alive 24 hour guarantee." I drip acclimated it over the next 6 hours, and added it to my tank, which has been up and running for ~3 years. Two days ago it took a swing to the worse, and has now disintegrated.

Just rather disappointed with the whole ordeal... I even drove 2 hours (one way) to pick it up at the airport as it arrived.

this time of year is a bad time to ship anemones...spring and fall is best...

Will definately wait... don't feel like trying again right now. I was placing an order for some other things when I was told they had an RBTA, and since it's not common for them to have one, I jumped at it.

Awww what a shame. I have seen others post pics of their nems after shipping in a similar state and they have recovered... real unlucky
