But it's not lookin too good. My sister called me all excited while I was at work because my huge RBTA finally split after 6 or 7 months. I was pretty stoked so I said, "Awesome! PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON IT."

I get home and it's no where to be found then I look up and find that it got sucked into my filter... Immediately hit the power, wiggled the filter cover a bit and it worked itself free but looks torn up:

You can see the big one in the back hiding out behind the rocks. Anyhow, I'm guessing all the stringy coils are its insides.. what do you say Doc?

With good water conditions, it will likely make a full recovery. BTA's very often recover from run ins with powerheads.

Just a few hours later and it's out and about. Inflated and a very deep maroon.
