Recieved Free API Quick Start? Useless?

Hey everyone, so I work at a pet store and the API representative came in today and gave us fish people free new bottles of their quick start cycling product. I have always cycled my tanks the conventional way with ghost feeding but has anyone heard anything about this? Would it just be a waste to add it or would it safely speed up my cycle? Just curious?!?

If you dont have something to provide a source of bacteria such as a piece of LR or whatnot, it's a good starter source. It does NOT "instantly cycle" your tank.
