How long did the splitting process take?

Hahaha thanks guys. Split was very quick. The tank is at my parents' house but I check in pretty much everyday with the dropcam. No signs of splitting as far as I can tell from the cam yesterday. Checked today and it was done. I have recording on the camera so I can look back and see how it happened.

So I reviewed the tape and here's what I found:

At 9:15 PM last night, the nem looked perfectly normal with no sign of split apparent from the video. See https://video.nest.com/clip/0010cc04c81d4dcfb1638382a225d86c.mp4

At 9:41 PM, you can just begin to see it start the division. See https://video.nest.com/clip/15f9a3ec77534545a853caee9663419b.mp4

At 10:19 PM, just before lights out, it still has a ways to go. See https://video.nest.com/clip/89147eb48fdd42c59925e7af03ab5cdf.mp4

Then the lights go out, so nothing is visible. By the time the lights kicked on around 12:30 PM today, the split was complete. See https://video.nest.com/clip/20cb828912754c8796b562d5e8a80a27.mp4

That's awesome!
...I wish my kids took care of my tanks for me... I only HOPE I get a son-in-law like you some day!

Very interesting. Only time a mag split under my care was many years ago, and I seem to recall it taking at least a few days. My last one got huge but refused to split. Go figure.

Congrats on the split. How big was it before it split.I have had mine for over three years and no split. It is approximately 15" across.
