I find it humorous that you accuse me of intentionally spreading these red bugs to other tanks.
better watch it lb, he'll give you the angry face tooits ok sharing is caring. jk
btw, i make sure none of my frags have any pests before swapping.
thanks for bringing this thread up.
Got home today and went checking on my corals and surprisingly I found red little creatures crawling around my acropora. Oh man this guy is so small and I almost went blind inspecting my acropor. Where can buy the stuff to treat my tank? If you have some local please pm me.
I could have said, 'yes, as a matter of fact i fragged that entire yellow acro and sold them all' but some ppl cant take a joke and when rumors start they spread like wildfire.
I hear you. yeah sometimes revive and rx isnt a 100% guarantee that you wont get those pests and i KNOW red bugs can be frustrating and my greatest fear is getting aefw. But if it happens it happens and thats what's great about these threads and scrk. we help each other out.Hey Brian, I apologize for my comments I didn't intend to come across as accusing you of spreading anything, but I was concerned about my own tank as I did buy some frags from the frag tank at SCRK and although I dip all my new frags in Coral RX I'm sure it does not kill red bugs.
Here is a thread I started a long time ago and it tells you everything you should do. Its a quick read. Check it out. It's super easy to deal with.
