Red carpet is moving, questions??

As some of you know from my previous thread, i got a small red haddoni a few weeks ago. It was acting weird and starting to detach from the glass bottom last week. Today i get up and he is just laying on the sandbed.

He is fully inflated and looks good but the flow was blowing him under a rock overhang. I moved him out into the light and turned off my tunze's so that he wouldn't get blown back under.

Is there anything i should do other than just wait?? Should i turn the powerheads back on or wait until he digs in somewhere?

Also, i noticed that for some reason my lieutenant and orange shoulder tangs like to poop over him which releases a decent amount of sand that sticks to him. Could this sand be bothering him and maybe be the reason my carpets seem to shrivel up more than usual???

you need to have the pumps on, if he's healthy he's on a walk about for a better more desirable location, if by chance he digs in again and then you turn pumps back on it's just gonna make it move again.

The problem is, as soon as i turn the pumps on(even at low power) he gets blown under the rocks out of the light. I tried turning them back on and he got blown under there again so i turned them off. He seems to have attached to the front glass/sand interface and is digging his foot in there.

As far as feeding, i have had him for about 2 weeks and have fed him 4 times. Each time i gave him 1/4 of a pretty big shrimp(he is prety small). At first, i was worried to feed him to much but now i think i should be feeding more to get him strong and healthy.

I've had great luck with carpets doing the following:

Dig down in the sand near a rock face where there is an indentation so the anemone could pull back into the rocks if it wants. Remove the sand all the way down to the glass and make a bowl shape. Place the anemones foot down on the glass. They love to have a good firm hold. Mine has been in the same place for about 4 years now and many have tried this with great success. What's really insane is this: if you look up at the bottom of my tank from underneath...the foot has spread so wide that its bigger than a platter all along the glass holding the anemone in place. GL...hope this helps. Marcye
