red carpet splitting?

Is my anemone splitting? The small one on it came off the edge. Is this normal. Fed the big anemone and the small one yesterday and they both ate. Pretty stoked about this.

Not splitting but looks like a nice size budding. Can you get some close ups of the bud and I take it that there is a seperate mouth by that size?

Based on the experiences of others, it may take several months before the bud separates from the parent.

Definitely document the process as best you can, it is not well documented in captivity.

A friend of mine has had a blue haddoni with a bud (old pic in gallery) for about 4 years now (man, does time fly), the bud has only grown a little bit though. I know he doesn't target feed the bud, whether that would make a difference or not??? We call it the "magic carpet" because it has hosted three pairs of spawning clowns in as many years.
