Red Carpet Strange

Hi all,

I have had this haddoni for many, many years. Ever since I moved him to his new tank (7 months ago) he has been having problems. It took him a while to get settled in (he has been in the same place for 5 months). And he looked good for awhile, but for the past 4 months (maybe longer) his mouth has been constantly inflated. It has been inflated since I first put him in his new tank and it would go away/ come back/ go away and now it is constant.

Could this be an air bladder type deal like with fish? I am not sure what to do nor why he is doing this.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

not taking food right now, he is still sticky - the food will stick but then it just falls eventually. But he used a lot - up until about 4 months ago

Always would feed him tilapia about 2-3 times a week for years. He was eating in the new tank up until about 4 months ago when I was away and someone was taking care of him/ the tank for me

the strange parts are: 1) I have had him for many years so I know he was always healthy 2)He hasn't moved since settling in that spot so ~5months 3) He is firm and his shape about 90% of the time 4) He is still sticky (but has not been eating recently) 5) his "bubble" is always protruded since after a month in his new tank.

I am either thinking he is somehow sick or like the fish air bladder type deal and maybe since he was never moved for years and got so used to his other tank that when I popped him out his "air bladder" filled up with air - (I know this makes no sense for a carpet anemone/ anemone, but I'm stuck on what it could be).

The upside down picture (sorry about that) is from last night. And the normally positioned picture is from this morning.

Do you guys think he looks ill and will be possibly needing treatment or stressed or is it possible that this is just how he is now?
