red coat squirrelfish

I have a squirrel fish that shows interest in food but won't eat It will swim up to it look and then swim away he swims fast back and forth I tried a goldfish, squid, silversides, table shrimp, mysis, scallops, brine and flake food. I hear they want to eat during lights out but this one swims during the day all the time. Any advice appreciated.

How old is the tank?
Tankmates?
Parameters?
Tried adding garlic?
Tried feeding at night?

Tank is 225 and was just moved it was setup for 6 years same fish it has a clown grouper naso and yellow tang just tested salinity and temp. Will check others tomorrow. Tried at night and with garlic. I believe it ate a piece of brine but this fish is about 8" so that's nothing for it
