Would love to see your Red Dragon acro with the specs of your tanks water to see if this grows best under high alk, calc, mag or high flow low flow with lots of light high placement to med to low placement ..I just got one and have mine in the middle of the tank under 250watt se radiums high to med flow alk at 8dkh,450 calc.ph 8.25 haven't checked the mag do bi-weekly water changes hope this all pays off ..well what are your Red Dragon settings?

Mine does best in low light, med-low flow (relative to other acros). Even in lower light, it still grows very fast for me. Growth is just like colony pictues. I have a frag from reeffarmers. Sorry no pics, I have to take one. :(

I've had great success in low/moderate light. The main colony is almost on the sand in a 24 inch deep tank. There are 400w radiums over the tank but the area is also partially shaded by a larger acro colony. The flow is pretty moderate/strong but indirect. Tank usually runs 9.6dkh, 430 Ca, 1360 Mg temp 74. Good luck. Once they get happy they are a fact grower.

awesome then i have it right where it should be like the alk around 10dkh so that is on the money thanks for the intel.
