had this wrasse for about a month i found him upside down breathing rapidly and laying on the sand bed. today i saw it swimming like it was blind or stiff now it hid. is it sick the oxygen is good so its not that

Oftentimes that behavior is seen when the fish either jumped and hit a glass top, or darted quickly and swam full speed into the sides of the aquarium, rocks, or something else solid. It may have injured its back. It may get better and it may not depending on the severity and whether it will be able to compete for food and not be too freaked out to come out into the open.

And if you can find where it's hiding, target feed some food there after the other fish have had their fill.

So im using tap waterwater with prime conditioner with kent introvert, also reef advantage calcium powder, fluval sea trace elements, reef iodide sometimes fluval sea 35-45ions . My water level is ph 8.2-8.4 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrates 0 calcium was low I think about 250 but dose lightly I changed from a 20 gallon to a 29 gallon. Have a fluval full spectrum light 25w 25000k 312 less 1 tomato clown 1 red fairytale wrasse 1 emerald green crab 1 turbo and 3 other snails 2 Hawaiian hermit 4 red hermit .. salinity 1022 any help oh yea my tank is like 3 months added more sand last week about 8lbs live rock*

Haven't seen it eat but when I put mysis it began to move but no eating

Not sure its still alive I put mysis in the tank and it moves but looks like ray Charles and cant connect scared for it

More than likely not going to make it in the situation it's in. Best to put him in a QT. Wrasses are known for being extremely skittish. He could be stressed or ill.

I wouldnt say that. Based on the initial description of swimming it sounds like an injury, and with descriptions of it moving toward food it sounds as though there is improvement.
This I would agree with, as being in a less competitive environment can help speed up recovery.
While they may be skittish when first introduced, I find wrasses quickly figure out life in captivity, quickly losing the initial fear and cruising around confidently. If it was injured, hiding is a perfectly normal behavior for a few days.

This fish is still alive I dont know how it never eats and still laying in sand bed does it shed skin or something

Fish can go up to a month or more without eating and still live.
Red velvet another name for your "fairytale" wrasse.
My guess would be possible internal parasite, could try prazipro or metronidazole.
Why do you ask if they shed? Is the skin looking funky? Pics?

If you are seeing it soon after lights go on the shedding could be its mucus cocoon still, if its colors are dull and faded it could be succumbing to its ailment.

Color became super blue on bottom and red on top and the skin thing went away will have pictures soon cause im cobfused
