very niiiiiice.... i just recent saw a video of a large mag. it was the first one to give me the wow factor. now... i need a bigger nem tank. lol :)

Always wanted a red one to go with my purple. Someone told me that the red ones end up purple. Anyway looks good. If the price is right and your ready I would go for it.

Sounds like someone who gave up on finding a red one

Red foot, not a red mag.:thumbdown

Still waiting on that unicorn.:spin1:

Pretty sure they're considered one in the same. Back ten years or so ago, they used to list "rose" ritteri anemones from Africa on some of the wholesale lists. They were red based mags.

interesting... what type of nem would you consider these then?

i personally don't know much about mags and have never even seen one in person. i like to learn though. who knows what the future nem tank additions might be as well. lol

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice red foot mag. I'd like to see red tentacles, which is what I was hoping this was. :)

Matter of opinion I suppose, I think it's a slightly misleading title. It's a red footed mag, the tentacles are not red, which was my point.

Regardless, it's very nice.

Red and red base are used interchangeably. Neither is wrong. Red base mags are far more commonly seen and available than the ones you are referring to. Do they even exist? Haha :) I would like to see a picture of one that hasn't been photoshopped.

Even if somebody posted a photo of a purple based mag with red tentacles, I would not necessarily find that misleading if they called it a red mag.

Also remember mags are a bit like balloons: the color of the base 'fades' a bit as it inflates (which it will do if it is happy). Couple of red-based mags I've bought proved to be somewhat less so once they expanded.
