Red Sea Trace Colors C & D - how much?

I can't figure out how much of C & D trace colors that I should dose of each. The directions say for level of added Ca (ppm), add x ml per x liter of water.

I dose 25 ml of Ca per day to my 90 gal tank.

Any help in how much of C & D should I dose daily?

Watch that stuff, incorrect dosage will kill LPS.
You need to calculate the daily usage of CA in PPM, then apply the dosing rule as per manufacturers instructions.

BTW....I have been dosing 2.5 ml per day of A,B,C,and D, in a 70g for more than a year.
I have noticed no change whatsoever and will shortly discontinue.

Yes, you can test, but expensive and time consuming, not overly accurate either.

ICP testing ...triton labs,ati and others do it...
Accuracy is debatable...

I'm adding 25 ml of Ca per day. I don't know how to convert to ppm as the instructions are stating.

I'd guess that's 5-10 ppm, roughly. Do you know the water volume of the tank, and which exact supplement are you using for calcium?

Test your CA. Then, stop dosing Alk/Ca/Mg for a day. Test your CA after this.

The difference between the 2 is your system's ppm uptake for the day. You can use that info to plug into the Red Sea recommendations to find how much trace you need to dose.

You can take it out to 2 days, 3 days etc for more accuracy if you'd like as well.

Sure. So test your Ca first, let's say its 430 ppm.

Stop dosing Alk/Ca/Mg for 24 hours.

At the end of 24 hours test your Ca again. Let's say its 415 ppm.

Your tank consumes 430 - 415 = 15 ppm in 24 hours. If you want to be more accurate, extend that out to 48 or 72 hours, you can and just divide by how many days you measured for.

The fact is that the instructions are garbage, the contents not revealed, and so far, the only thing this stuff did was take out a $200 Scolymia

Like Red Sea Stuff, but this did nothing for my corals in a year now...

But have fun
