Red Serpent Star being attacked

Really not sure where to put this so I'll start here. I've had a red serpent star for about a year in my 75g. Noticed a while ago his central disc had turned white but all of this legs and everything else is red. Couldn't figure it out and my searching didn't turn up anything and he still eats and is healthy. Well yesterday I see him crawling along and my starry blenny is just picking at his central disc :( Could this be the cause of it turning white and anyone know why he would do that?

I also have a gray serpent in the same tank and the blenny pays him no attention at all. I hate seeing him getting harassed like this. I have a 28g Nanocube I can move him to, do you think he would be ok in a tank that size?

I'm not sure if the blenny could cause that, but it does look kind of like it's been eaten at. Maybe he just tastes good?
The star should do alright in a 29g, given that they aren't the most active things ever, but I'd keep an eye on it in case it dies.

if your 29g is old enough, he'd probably do ok. they're mostly scavengers (although i also target feed mine) so he'll need stuff to scavenge for. you could move him over and give him a chance to heal and then put him back in your 75g and see how he does.

yeah, I moved him already....anytime he came out in the open or was in sight of the starry he would bite at him, felt bad for him. After I got him out and could take a closer look it was apparent he was white because it had been eaten away. Hopefully he recovers his red after a bit.
