Any suggestions of compatible fish with a Red Stripe Angel (Eibl's Angelfish, Eibl's Pygmy Angelfish, Orangelined Angelfish, Blacktail Angelfish, and Eibl's Dwarf Angel) for a fish/invert tank? Not concerned with coral.

Thanks in advance!

Lots of possibilities, but you have to be careful because that angel is known to be a territorial species.

Some suggestions: yellow Coris wrasse, maroon clown, melanurus wrasse (not with the yellow Coris wrasse), banggai cardinal pair... Those are just some off the top of my head. It all depends on what kind of setup (aggressive or peaceful) you want in the end.

Thanks - Looking for peaceful since I'd like to have some inverts. I've read quite a few blogs that say they are territorial as well as peaceful.

It's going to be tricky to add fish with the angel already established. You'll see that it will attack most new inhabitants for the first couple of days.

If you want peaceful, look at a pair of ocellaris clowns, a yellow coris wrasse (not with clams), the banggai Cardinals, or maybe a larger goby (like a sandsifter). Your best bet is to window shop on websites like liveaquaria to see what you like, what fits the criteria you're looking for, and what fits in your budget.
