Reef Aquarium 1350 gallons in Bucharest

WOWWW :celeb3::celeb3:

Did you use some kind of glue to hold it down against the glass ? Are you planning to cover up the gaps between them ?

Very Nice Andy! I was having a hard time envisioning this when you were making the pieces in the garage, but now that I understand your process that is looking great! Looking forward to the plumbing stage!

EPIC build. If your coral keeping skills match your tank building skills, this tank will be right up there with Ching Chai's. I wish you luck!

I would like to thank all of you for your interes for my tank and for your nice comments. Every word is well appreciated.

I used white silicone:

All the gaps will disappear. Follow the pictures.

Thank you

Thank you so much for compliments and wishes!
I might need to build 3-4 more tanks to achive at least half of Chingchai's wonderful results. :)

This morning at 10 o'clock I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of light coming from the tubes even if is almost winter. The only difference from the days before is that I added the tube's extensions (25 inch more, about 64 cm).

I don't know why the camera doesn't show the same light but less.

Very nice Andy that's the best dry rock work I ever see.
Are you doing bare bottom , deep sand bed and something in between.
And are you planning to run wave box?

Excellent build!
The rock work on the back wall, will you have to let it cycle?
If so how long do you think it wil take?
In any event gonna follow, its like a good book i just can't put it down lol

Incredible rockwork!! Absolutely stunning! The light looks good for winter.

Can't wait to see this thing full of life!

Sorry, but I don't understand the images of the work on the bottom of the aquarium. Why is there a layer of mylar? What is the blue foam padding for?

Thx,

Dave.M

It looks like foam to protect their knees while they work. I assume they cut out the nice pattern to design the layout.

WOW! Your penthouse and rooftop living areas look beautiful and this tank is top of the notch in design as well! Sorry I missed meeting you at MACNA as well, but maybe next year? After all these Extra-Large big builds I am following ... I think I'm going back to nanos as I can't compete!
