Reef Brite LED's - Now Taking Orders!

@shell4, I think you would be just fine with lower light corals, including some lower light lps. I think you'll want a third strip if you plan on doing anything that is medium to higher light, especially if they're placed lower down in the tank.

Hey Jeremy would you recommend one 48' blue reefbrite to supplement 250watt MH? Trying to replace 2 t5s and reduce cost. Thanks in advance.

Hey Jeremy, I have a 180 with fish, lps, sps etc. right now I have a ati 60" with 4 t5 bulbs, I believe 2 blue and 2 whites and I'm looking to add led with the t5's. If you could recommend a good set up and the cost I would order ASAP! Thanks!

I would suggest going with the all blue then. That will add the most color pop, and the blues give off a ton of PAR = growth. LED's are not like traditional lighting systems where the more blue you go generally the bigger dropoff you get in total PAR.

Hi all- tagging along- I have a retro 4 bulb T5 over my 90 gal. tech tank, and I'd like to supplement with one strip of reefbrites to start, maybe eventually two strips.

I'm looking for the shimmer of LED's, and to add a little pop I guess. No clams or crazy corals, tank is mixed reef.

I'm happy with the color of T5, so should I try one blue actinic strip, or a 50/50?

From what I have read it seems folks use 1 actinic strip before and after the T5's are on to give a dawn/ dusk look?

Thanks for your advice!

So it has been almost 14 months since I bought my 48" blue reef brite and the power supply went out. I did not see them listed in your web site. Do I need to contact reef brite directly or do you sell these?
Thanks in advance.

These reefbrites look amazing and attach very well to my ATI sunpower without any mods what so ever! great product

Tucan...Thinking about purchasing a reefbrite strip for my ATI sunpower. Definitely interested after reading your post of attaching w/o any mods. How did you attach yours? Could you show a picture?

Thanks but reef brite said they would send me a new one since the warranty just ended. I was not expecting that at all. Great people

I recently upgraded to a 90 gallon 48in tank and I have a 30in reefbrite blue, 30in reefbrite xho blue, and 150watt MH that were from my 60 gallon. I want to get rid of the 150w MH and go with all reef brite LED's. How many 48in reefbrite xho's would I need to replace my 150w MH and be able to do a mixed reef with some SPS corals.

I was thinking of getting a 48in XHO white and a 48in XHO 50/50 to add to my other two 30in reefbrite blues. Would this be enough lighting?

XHO or Illumilux

XHO or Illumilux

Greetings Jeremy!!! 1 Question before I order from you guys... I currently run 4 T-5's (3 blue pluses and 1 purple plus) along with 2 250w 14K Phoenix bulbs. I want more blue supplementation... I have a 60 inch tank. Which would suit me better or make a more considerable difference the 60" ReefBrite XHO or the 48" vertex Illumilux??? Just waiting on your response before I make my purchase from you... Thanks!!!!

@e85GTX - I'd suggest at least two of the XHO's, although three would be better. Doing a white in the middle, and then a blue in the front and back would be a very nice looking setup.

@J23ames - The XHO is going to give you more blue overall, where the Illumilux would give you more of a shimmer effect. I"d suggest the XHO if you want color only.

Thank You!!!

Thank You!!!

Jeremy like always thank you for your quick response Premium Aquatics is the best supplier around, PERIOD!

As a result of the shimmer produced by the vertex would you consider it a better option for SPS than the reefbrite xho? I want the color but obviously I'd rather kill to birds with one stone... Thanks Again!!!
