Have you made your list for Santa?

Is he going to give you what you really want?

Have you been nice or naughty?

Reef Central understands.

Announcing the Reef Central Blog contest! From now until January 20th, 2012 gives us your creative best on your own Reef Central Blog. The blogs are a great place to share your tank build, chronicle your growth or just ramble on. At the conclusion of the contest, TeamRC will select the Top 5 blogs and you, our Reef Central members, will choose the winner among them.

Up for grabs is a Geo's Reef CR612 calcium reactor, valued at $340, generously donated by Geo himself. You can see product details here:

Get started here!

The fine print:
This contest is open Reef Central members in good standing. While any member can view, comment on and subscribe to a Reef Central Blog you must be a Premium member to create a blog. TRC, moderators, admins and sponsors are all welcome to create Reef Central Blogs but are not eligible for this contest.

Hmmm, this sounds like a lot of fun!! Can't wait to read some of the entries! GEO, thanks for donating such a great "prize" to the RC Community!!

I personally feel that as people move toward updating blogs etc, that the population is drawn away from the BBs. I don't see how this is a positive move for RC to promote movement from build threads posted on the Reef Keepers forum to blogs. I wonder if this isn't a reason that there have been far fewer entries as of late. I could be wrong, it may just be due to the season.

If you don't want a free calcium reactor, you don't have to participate.

(yes - our traffic figures are normal for this time of year)

I would love the calcium reactor, but I would also love for the search button to work again too.

Hey Reef Central,

If you already know what I want for Christmas, then get it for me. I'll tell you if you were right or wrong. I'll tell you if you were naughty or nice.

I love reading these new blogs. There are some creative bloggers around here.
So far there are 8-10 new blogs, and since the top five blogs will be selected for the final voting, the chances of winning are currently high. ;-)

I'd like to play. I have a 180 build that literally begins TODAY.

Can someone please PM me regarding becoming a premium member?

Thanks!
