But with that said, what I think some are trying to say here is there is a difference between an honest business person and someone who time and time again deliberately scams people out of money with shady business deals done with the intention of deceit and intent to defraud. The key word here is (intentionally). This is not a guy who always deals in good faith but then again that’s business I guess, bottom line in any business deal is cya. I have bought goods from Peter before and on the flip side sold him products at times. Anytime you deal with him you just have to keep in mind who you are dealing with. No matter how many deals you do with this guy. At some point or another he is going to stab you in the back or at least try to. It’s just in his nature.
 
Please elaborate for this forum what he has done illegally?
Sold stores to people who could not manage them?
What else has he done for you to paint such a negative picture of ths man. Do you really think that there was no sweat, labor or cost to build these stores?
Should he not be rightfully rewarded for such labor?
Really man, you use words such as scam, defraud and deceit like the man gave nothing for something.
Im sorry guys, but Ive known him and his family for 10 years and what you are doing here is wrong.

Im certain he would be thrilled to know who is "stabbing him in the back"!!!

Alright, I can't take it anymore. Can some one pm me and let know who this peter guys is. Its killing me because all the individuals I recognize say he is shady but one newcomer swears that he is a great guy. No offense aquariumart, my curiosity has just gotten the better of me.

As for Aquariumart you might want to tread lightly asking people exactly what he has done, you might get what you ask for. You might want to ask him how much of his dirty laundry you want aired out since some have worked in close relations with him and have personal knowledge of his business wrongdoings with a lot of the LFS’s. You might want to let sleeping dogs sleep or you might be raising his lawyer fees substantially if some of us shared their information.

FYI if you read the thread looks like 5-6 people dont really think highly of you best bud Peter. Also the only one dying to hear about it is you and Peter so just let it go. Good luck on selling your recession proof business.

The point I am trying to make is not merely to defend someone who I known PERSONALLY for many years, but to demonstrate the ignorance in people.
All of the allegations you spread are hearsay...None of you have ever encountered on a personally or business level any adverse effect from his practice or operations in this Industry. Otherwise, this would not be arena to contest such allegations.
Im a hobbyist, all like you and I can certainly appreciate the love for the industry.
But you people go to a whole other length, wasting precious time on non-productive matters.
BTW: This thread will not hinder or better his chances of selling his business!
The viability of his success shall determine the business value, not what is said in this forum.
Ill let you guys continue to hash out your indifferences...

It seemed the point your were trying to make by telling mrx to address you by your name, which included the Esq., was to intimidate others who, I will admit, are attacking your friend Peter. Why else would you include such information. It is such actions that give our profession, if you are an attorney, a bad name.

I agree with you that there have been nothing but baseless claims. However, MRX said he personally witnessed Peter scamming, so his account would not be hearsay, Smart Guy. I plan on getting into aquaculture or an LFS when I retire, so I was wondering what kind of scam Peter is claimed to have perpetrated so I can watch out for the scam, if not Peter. MRX even admitted that Peter has done nothing illegal so I am not sure what the issue is. I am just curious...
