Hi all,
I have recently been looking into purchasing a reef octopus NWB 150 skimmer. I know this skimmer is rated up about 150 gallons, my question is, would it be a bad idea to put this size skimmer in a set up with about half that amount of water?
I have a 40B with 20L sump so 60gal total. They make a similar model, NWB 110 thats rated for 100 gal but for about 30$ more I can get the 150. I also was thinking that at some point I would most likely want to set up a larger tank and figured if I have the 150 already thats one less piece of equipment to buy.
Any comments or suggestions?
Thank you!
