Reef Ready or Custom Overflow?

Hi All,
I'm looking at upgrading the 150 for a 300(ish) tank and wondered what you think of RR versus custom overflow. Looking at reef ready 300DD based on price but not sold on Marineland quality or their seemingly insufficient overflow. I love the dimensions of the 300DD but think something similar with a ghost type overflow would allow for better aquascaping and flow. Please share any opinions especially if you have a DD tank.

Reef Ready or Custom Overflow?

I went with a coast to coast external overflow. It's cleaner look and you get 100% real estate.
