Reef safe mortar for attaching large rocks?

I’m scared to drill and have the rock damaged. There really isn’t a good place to run any rods as the mounting point is probably about 3-4” across. It’s tricky. All livestock is coming out for TTM and then a 8 week QT so this will give me time to have the rocks out and arrange things before they go back
 
Should be good with soaking in freshwater for few days and let it dry out completely before putting in the tank
 
Below is my aquascape..as you can see, i have multiple shelf rocks cemented to the base rocks. My entire aquascape contains 4 sections consisting of several smaller pieces cemented together.

The key with using the mortars is to mix a little at a time. Like enough for just one or two joints at a time. You'll be messing with a piece of rock, then you'll turn back around and your bucket will be dry. Been there done that.
