Just received my order yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. This is what I was given and I'm a n00b when it comes to marine plants. To me, it looks like Halymenia but, I could be wrong. How hard is it to care for? As for my lighting, I have the stock lighting that comes on the Marineland Bio-Wheel Combos (LED Day and LED Night). Thanks for any help!

I was informed that this piece is called Red Gracilaria. Does anyone have any information on it? Special lighting required? Thanks.

Correction, this is apparently Red Titan. Searched a little on it and found that it isn’t picky with lighting, is this true? Any other care tips? Thanks.

Yes, red titan. Very forgiving algae, can adapt to lots of light levels.

I have some and I find it does best with 50/50 Fluorescent. Have it in my fug.

The two pictures look nothing alike.. Red titan in the first. A.K.A Red Flat leaf Gracilaria.. The second pick looks like Rose Petal.. some type of fechua sp.

No way that first one is a Gracilaria sp. Morphology is all wrong.
