I bet you could get all this stuff cheaper at So Cal Tropical without the "group buy".

i went to socal trop during the sale... he has it for 23.99 bucks each bulb... so even 20% off would be the regular price on the reeefgeek website... we are shooting for getting the bulbs for around 16 bucks... makes a big deal when you buy over 10 bulbs...

otherwise i would have totally ended the groupbuy and told people to buy it there. it has already been mentioned to me and i went to look into it...

so, for example... ati blue plus is 18.95 on the website. group buy will be 15.16, which is a nice discount... socal trop would have to discount more then 35%...

yea, they had a few of them instock. i went to check out the prices during the end of the year sale... which should have been comparable? but still the groupbuy was better, so my friend and i who are buying alot of bulbs decided to keep the group buy going...

also, since i have a few people who are joining me, it is now a problem who is handling the money. reefgeek is going to give us group buy and you give money direct to them. no body else but you and reefgeek touch your money.

i think also with socal, he might have stock issues with us buying 36+ bulbs? possibly 45+? reefgeek has all the bulbs in stock right now... especailly since we are buying all different sizes...

How much would ati 8 bulb 4ft be. Do they charge tax?

well right now there aren't anyone who is confirmed for the ati fixtures... i was thinking about buying one if someone else bought 1? that way we can get the 5% off... we need to have 2 fixtures to get the 5% off... yea, they do charge tax, as we are picking it up and paying at the store...

i was thinking about getting either the 8 bulb or the 6 bulb in the 24" size... may be move my 4 bulb tek to my fuge? not sure what i will do until all the orders come in... i guess i will decide then?
