I killed ALL that Coral!
So after much debating I finally made first online coral purchase. I had always worried about coral matching the pictures and meeting my expectations. I first heard of Copps from some local reefers who have ordered from him before. They assured me his stuff is always as promised or better. I put together a order and contacted John. His communication was excellent and prompt. He shipped on the day I asked and forwarded my all the tracking info.
I logged on to FedEx the morning I expected the shipment to track the package. Only an hour before it was expected the package sat in Tennessee. I called FedEx, the plane had mechanical problems and then was delayed by weather once repaired. Long story and lots of phone calls to FedEx later. I picked up the package and took it home a whole day later.
In my kitchen about to open a box of coral that had been packaged 36 hours earlier my expectations were pretty low. I opened the professional looking package and starting inspecting corals. To my amazement they not only looked healthy they colorful and large. I floated the bags for an hour and then put them into the tank. I didn't want to risk further stress with a dip.
Within 30 minutes every frag had great polyp extension, even the super fragile Red Dragon.
Funny how little colored sticks and fish can put you through the emotional wringer!
