I have a fish room in the basement and the difference you will see by increasing the pipe size will be huge. I bet you do not come close to your expectations. Also, the pump will have to work harder.

I was in the same boat as you at one time. I had a chiller with 3/4 fittings. My flow was terrible. So I had to run second return line to make everything work.

Far cheaper to address the issue now.

i am taking your info i just want to see how it works out first then i will make my change just got done plumbing will post pictures tomorrow

hey reeftanks6 are you gonna just let marc talk to you like that? thats messed up! dont let him push you around like that! hahaj/k

ok update i am thinking of a fish list and wont to post two fish that i want one of these will be a tang it will be a little crouted with that but....
So its either a Powder Brown or chocolate tang i did have a purple in mind but in a 90 which is pushing it for 2 i didnt want the purple and sailfin fighting so i thing if i add either a powder brown or chocolate tang it wont be that bad. I also want some kind of foxface. Just tell me what your experince is with these fish.

Question for everyone do u think i should run my skimmer know or wait till i get some sand and rock in there untill i turn it on.
Some of the changes that we are going to make is the plumbing the T did not work out as we planned. The tank does not have much flow but the pump is doing good so far still havent decided what iam going to do with that

You need to put the ball valve under the T for the fuge. This will allow you to control how much water gets to you fuge. The way it is figured now. The water will just go straight.
