Hawkfish could do some damage to your shrimp if you have any. A lawnmower blenny would be a nice fish to add i love mine. I know you really really want another tang but i would just stick with a sailfin and just be prepared in two years to have another home for it.

yea i know i get confused a lot also should i make a thread in one of those forums.
you would get more responses in Reef Discussion

yoboyjdizz i don't really now what i am going to do i don't think i am going to go with the Powder Blue Tang because of the size and how they are so delicate. So i am deciding on the Purple or maybe i can go with a foxface or a Banana wrasse. What are your experiences with Anglefish? I either want a Flame or Coral Beauty but i heard they are a 50/50 chance. Yes reef discussion would be better.

I only have experience with large angelfish, but as far a flame or coral beauty go they would be a nice, just make sure you get a healthy one to begin with. They are 50/50 but most don't have problems just try to keep them well fed. A foxface would add some nice color and good algae grazer as well.

yea instead of the tang i think i might go with a bicolor foxface or magnificent foxface. I will do some research on the flames and the foxface. Still not fully decided on the tang though if i still want it.

Yeah, Ocean (nanogurls PBT) seems to be doing fine in her 90.

He's done really well in my 75... but I bought him small (3" or so) for that reason that he was going to be in a 75 for awhile. I would not have put a PBT in my 75 if I didn't know I was going to be able to upgrade it quickly. I also designed the tank around him... low fish load, places for him to swim in the open and such. Lots of flow.

Get one if you want I was just clarifying =) I'm not the tang police lol. If you upgrade your 90 within a couple of years, a baby PBT will do fine in your tank with the right setup and parameters.

yea idk i am still deciding on what i should do. But if i do get a PBT i think he will be around the last fish added and the tank will not be upgraded for another 2 or 3 years after he is added.

Get one from maldives and a small one and I tihnk your chances will increase. High flow, lots of oxygen, lots of nori, and not a lot of competition of swimming area space where they like to swim.

do you think i should add him in the beginning or at the end thats if i decide to get one. Where is a good place to get them offline from the maldives. Dont want to buy one from my LFS when i see them they dont look very good.

Your blue tang looks to have scratches on .....................

his face. How long have you had him. I have had one for about 10 years now and he has scratched almost all the blue off of his face. Also his tail is cut up pretty bad. i think it was due to the fact he was in a 75 gallon aquarium and has outgrown it. He has just been moved to a 390 gallon aquarium. Do you see you blue tang wedging himeself in rocks and scratching himself or is thier something else going on with mine?

Liveaquaria would be a good place to purchase one if you really going to do it. I get most of my fish from them and they always have been the healthiest I've seen.

ok there is a disease called Head And Lateral Line and this is where the little line on the back of the fish gets infected this is the Later line and this causes they tang to start to loose its color on its face and then it gets worse to the whole body. In this long process that can not kill the fish the fins start to sort of rot away.

Any picture updates? Im not trying to come off as an you know what just trying to help you and the fish. I just wish i knew of this site when i first tired saltwater would of not purchase a few fish first time around.

yoboyjdizz how much do they cost for shipping and are those PBT's from the Maldives. I will look at LFS stores as well for one that is in good shape. IF I GET ONE.

Shipping is like 30 dollars but its worth it! I wouldn't just order one thing maybe another fish and some clean up crew to make it worth your wild. Yes they are from the Maldives.

ok and if i do get him when should i add him to the new tank early like after i have a couple of fish in there for a month or two including that sailfin or later and should i add the two tangs at the same time.
