reeftopia buy?

Also snails seem to take awhile to "wake up" after being shipped so don't count them dead till you give them a chance... like a few days to move about. So if you got hermits and snails you might want to put the snails in a small glass in the tank so the hermits don't rip them up while they are acclimating and get moving around.

Now Chuck... Why would you say such a thing? They can get huge and don't forfet to tip the organizer guys!

Just kidding around.. But Katie is definitely thinking this reefing thing is getting out of hand.. I really got the look when I told her I was trying to order some bulk lime- and the distributor I called would only ship a min qty of 12 tons. :D :D :D

No tips are not required, But, a LOT of time goes into a group buy, so a tip would be a nice way of saying thanks for your work and effort.

It's not a problem really i just didn't think this was a tip situation.

Some people get offended when tipped at the wrong situation.

I don't accept tips, i charge them a fee. :) but not in situations like this.

Reminds me of an episode of Sienfeld

When it comes to money there should be no ambiguities. I would be more than happy to pay a fee.

I should have sold odds on mortality- ha, would have made a fortune! Everything appeared healthy with the exception of a pep or two. I ended up with an extra lettuce and 10 micros- not sure if shipping error or somebody got shorted. LMK if you're short. Also, if you have DOA's, let me know asap, and I can get you $$ back from RT.

The red brittle was gorgeous, scarlet hermits were huge, and the gramma looked nice too. On my list for next order. Thx all- chuck

i figured since there would be deaths with the peppermint shrimp. That was why i ordered 4 i figured I would at least end up getting 2. If that is all i lose i will be more than happy. Wont know till later. Suspense is killing me!!

I am very happy for everyone it appears most things survivied Yay. A few peps are expected..they don;t ship well in even favorable conditions.

My replacement items should be in tomorrow morning. Just for the record, RT was very accomodating in getting replacements.

The snails that did live took about an hour to get moving around.

Tip? Are you serious?

Its nothing official, but there is a lot of work and time that goes into these orders. Some people tip in corals, others use cash. :)

Chuck: I've got one dead peppermint shrimp on undercontrolj's order, and I think that's it! Well, one microhermit was dead... but I don't think Wayne will care about his $0.15. :)

As far as I can tell, everything else is great. I'll let you know if there are any new developments as the day continues.

Oh, and I told you guys this order would be fine. ;)

Some blue legs took right off the others started off in about 5 min. The same with the snails. The sally lightfoot started before she got out of the bag! The lettuce are moving around. The anenome is still closed but it is getting more color. Hope it will be done acclimating in another hour or so. Thanks Chuck and RT

If anyone has a extra Lettuce nudi, I'd buy it. I'm thinkin' about seein' if they might eat razor caulerpa? I really don't have any film algae and no hair algae at all. Maybe the nudi will have a try at the caulerpa?

All of my order seemed to be perfectly healthy.

Good to meet you Czarnik......sorry to mistake you for a worker there.....it caused me to wait a good 10 minutes wondering if I had the right location. :spin3: Duh!
