reeftopia buy?

The fact that it's going to the Kinko location means being on a truck with no heat in the package compartment. This is not good IMO way too cold tonight aside from temps at 40,000ft on dee plane!! Think I'll wait at home and see what's alive on arrival.

Chuck, I'll wait for your PM and call you in the AM if that is OK.
Angela and Chris Please call me.

Andywe, yours took an extra day right?

Air cargo temps don't bother me, I'm a pilot and I can tell you it's cold up there no matter the season. Air cargo travels 50-70f regardless of season. Ground handling is another matter, and that worries me. But I'm a positive guy and don't think a small business like RT would risk a $700 shipment when it's their dime.

10A at kinkos- I'll clean out my box guys. Thx!

i'll be at the fedex location at 10 to pick mine up.

can you bring the glass drill bits?? i'm about ready to drill my tank :)

Brandon is picking up mine along with the rest of the "Murfreesboro Order" :)....... thanks for the hard work!.....your pm box was full so I just posted it here.

One other note.. There should be 71 bags being broken out among 15 buyers. If we have minor DOA / missing stuff, I'm going to ask that you go ahead and pay as planned, and I'll get your $$ back to you at the next meet / paypal / whatever. I'm afraid it's going to be complete chaos counting and figuring out what is what, and I want to be respectful and not turn Kinkos into a LFS for too long :). Plus I'll have to get back to work. I have picksheets printed for each club member so that we can sort this out, and I'll try to get there a little early.

Repeat orders (John??), do they label or organize in any manner?

Of course if we open the boxes and see a disaster, I don't expect folks to pay for massive DOA's.

Yea Im kinda scared about the 16 pounds! Those must be tiny bags to get 15 orders in there! Im sure they are trying to save money. I would have atleast done two then you have a chance that one box would make it and not have to refund $700. Just my two cents!

Will be there at 10. My phone # 615.480.0068.

On the spreadsheet. It says 0.50 for nerite snails. I ordered 20, are you listing the percentage on there?

they only label by numbers chuck,....unless its something that looks alike....such as golden turbos and regular turbos.....but everything in ther should be pretty recognizable

Did you know what you were getting yourself into, Chuck?

I'm sure we'll all be fine. :) I expect a dead peppermint shrimp or two because they don't ship well, but nothing out of the ordinary. I could be wrong, but I've got a feeling most critters are going to be fine.

As far as the weight goes, a lot of critters we ordered don't have to be submerged in water, such as hermits and I think maybe emeralds and some of the snails. They just need to remain wet to be alive. Its amazing how small an order of 50 small hermits looks... it looks like 20! At least mine did last time. :)

Yep..Indy again..someone want explain why Ft. Lauderdale to Nashville has to go through Indy when the main hub is in Memphis? (rhetorical)

Check yer critters.

I think they left Indianapolis on a plane

It's here in nashville. Somehow the box is now almost 30 pounds hahah

It's so freaking cold out there. We should've listened to poolkeeper :)

I am hoping that they make it too, But as an ex Truck Driver I am familiar with shipping methods! And this kind of cold will quickly defeat heat packs. That said lets hope for the best.

Yeah, we'll just have to see.. Was too late to get RT to hold the order, and with my travels this week I wasn't keeping an eye on weather.

Jsut for the record.. I now detest snails, shrimp, stars, mushrooms, nems, and all purple/yellow fish. Ha!

Actually if packed right with the heat packs and the right boxes this is not that cold and it will be fine the thing that you have to worry more about is the handling of the box and if the bags were sealed and don't leak. a broken box is bad so you need to check the bottom that is normally what breaks. These boxes get shipped on airplanes overseas in unheated cargo some times. That tends to be a little cooler then single digit numbers.
