reeftopia buy?

will get confirm for time / address tomorrow. I think fedex depot in franklin on gen george patton @ 9a, for those that can't meet there will be at my house. Will pm that address to everybody.

i'll prob meet at your house....need to grab the glass drill bits while i'm at it so i can drill my tank :D

anybody need me to pick up their stuff for them??

FYI My order that was supposed to arrive this morning didn't. Watch your tracking closely and make sure they) reeftopia) actually sends your confirmation email with the tracking number.

hmmm...chuck, i remember getting a tracking number from RT when they shipped...so i dont think it would come this early.....its probably still being packaged....i think their fedex pickup is at 6 or 7....so expect one sometime around then

They've got the order and are working on it- but I've never gotten a single confirmation email for anything, other than a little back and forth on the breakout spreadsheet. I hope I get something, otherwise I guess we all show up at gen george patton fedx tomorrow @9 and see what happens :)

May be a good thing, Being one of the coldest days of the year. Shipping conditions couldn't be worse and fatalities could be high. Could they be holding untill the weather warms a little?

Thats true, its gona be very cold in the morning, around 10 degrees. I hope they pack it well with insulation. The last order from reefcleaners had no insulation, the water was below 50 degrees when i got it. I don't know if they consider the weather when they ship.

RT ships all of their animals in big styrofoam boxes, which helps but 10 degrees is ridiculously cold!

Well I got my trx number, will put up details when I get home tonight. I called them to check on the weather, but they were already gone. They do this every day, so I'm going to trust that they know what they're doing.

10 is cold for us, but prob common for reefers up north. I'll bring a thermometer so we can document water temp upon receipt.

OK.. Here are details:

Arriving at 3021 Mallory Ln. Franklin, TN 37067, this is the Fedex Kinkos in Coolsprings.

http://www.fedex.com/Tracking?language=english&cntry_code=us&tracknumbers=984808818004

They claim it will be there by 10:30, but following John's advice, I'm planning on picking up at 10. If it gets there earlier, it will be inside waiting for us.

They have workstations there so we should be able to break the boxes up inside there and split. I'm going to PM everybody with my home address and cell #. Pls reply either PM or in the thread if you (or a designee) will pick up there or later at my house.

Go through the order carefully. Mine got held up in Indianapolis and arrived this morning 75% DOA. Only the little Nassarius seemed to be hardy. A few of the certh's survived, but the fish, and all crabs were DOA.

Shannon from reeftopia told me this was a rare occurance. The pachaging was good, but I could tell upon opening the contents had gotten below freezing.

The packaging was a Styrofoam container with newspaper, a heating pack, taped, and then wrapped in foil. A good packaging job, but still no match fr the cold, especially if FEDEX is going to truck it part the way.

I would check the tracking in the morning if it says its in Franklin I would go then. Id say that it will be in Nashville at the sorting facility at around 3-4 AM then will be loaded on a truck and will leave at about 7AM not sure how it will be scanned in at the kinkos but it should show its there.
