Originally posted by NeveSSL Hey Steve... FWIW, I read recently that sea hares will eat most species of caulerpa... could be worth investigating.
Yea, I am seein' alot of info on caulerpa/sea hares. But I just checked out a Dwarf Sea Hare on live aquaria and it says they get 1 foot!!! That's half the size of my tank.
I just know the last lettuce nudi I had mowed over a small path of hair algae and then it pretty much wasted away. If it would only eat caulerpa, I don't think it would ever starve. I'll do more research.
Thanks Chuck, All of my order is alive and well. The Anemone is a little Jewel Opened instantly and is already attached to the glass in the sand bed, Real pretty green and white! Sorry i ran so quick but i have a tip for you. Its a group of pink paylays on a small rock that i was supposed to bring to the Expo for you and forgot. I can meet you when it's convenient for you, just shoot me a PM.
thanks for putting this thing together. Everything looks great except the one pep shrimp. kinda expected that though no big deal considering the size of the order i dont guess
I got a couple you can have. My commission from RT was 3 free peps, so far they're doing good.. will let them settle in, maybe bring them to the next meet?
Its ok man you earned them! Im not sure but I think my Nudi dissolved. It was doing fine this morning at 7 I just got home alittle bit ago and I dont see it and the water is alittle cloudy and there is all this stringy stuff in the tank? The water is prob. cloudy because of the shrimp but Im not sure what the slimy strings are? Do they leave trails like a slug?
Hey Chuck! Did you say that you had a extra lettuce nubi? If so are you going to keep it? If not I would like to buy it. My two are doing great but now I want one for the other Nano! Thanks
One I got was green with white speckles and the other was a dark green to black with white speckles. Very neat! I will get a couple more on the next order. Thanks
