Regal and Potters angel, which goes in first or same time

I have a regals and a potters that have been living in the same 120g for a few years. The regal would sometimes bully the potters but for the most part they got along. Right now they are in a holding tank while my 120g goes fallow from an ich outbreak... However, when thats over, I'm putting the regal back but not the potters.. The potters is going into another tank...

I am getting a new potters angel for the 120G though... Should I put new potters with the regal at the same time, or should I introduce the potters first and then the regal? The regal is about 3", the current potters is about 3" and the new potters is about 3".

One last question: Will the regal know the new potters isnt the old one? They look a like.. wonder if fish know these things.

If you changed the rocks and caves around to the point the Regal will not recognize his territory I would put them in at the same time, If the tank layout hasn't changed then I would give the Potters a days head start in the tank.

My Sumatra Regal pair pretty much ignore all other fish. There is not the slightest sign of aggression against any of the other fish, not even over food.
Of the smaller singles I have in other tanks two are a bit more bossy and sometimes feel the need to show who the ruler of the tank is. But even there it never comes to a fight or any injury.
Based on this I would say that it doesn't really matter who goes first. Since they are both equal size I would add them at the same time.

As for the regal recognizing that the potter's was exchanged - I'm sure he will notice it. If fish can keep people apart (and they can) than they can most definitely recognize other fish.
