Regal Angel Primer

yes meant the one in DT, glad it [the blockage] passed :)
I have a bandit with same case now ... :S

Yikes :( hope everything works itself out. Luckily it didn't really affect my regal's appetite, so just fed her nori constantly and about 4 days later it passed. It started to look worse before it got better though, so I was pretty nervous.

Have you ever tried dipping the fish in FW with Epsom salt? I have been told that it acts to quickly cause the fish to pass whatever is blocking the intestines. I personally have never tried it, but several people on the board have with good results.

I rescued this Regal from my LFS. It needed a lot of work while it was in QT, but I finally got it healthy. I apologize in adcvance for picture quality, they were taken on I-phone under mid-day led setting.

How is your regal doing with your blue line angel?

I got mine already eating pellets in the LFS. Have had him for 10 days already but don't see him eating. I ably see him pick at rock and some sponge here and there. Can I entice him in any way ???
He's been a model citizen and haven't been bullied by no one.

They actually get along with no issues. The most aggressive angel in the system is a female Genicanthus Semifasciatus, but only when she gets hungry. Everyone is pretty peaceful for the most part, the key has been to make sure everyone is well fed.

Anyone ????? He's been swimming still against the side walls in a vertical position.
I'm afraid he's lowering weight fast.

He's in the DT with several other fish. Most of them surgeons. He's in a 250g.
As I stated no one even cares about him. All my fish tag along amazingly well.

Should I place him in a qt ? What should I feed and how much ? How do I entice feeding ? Gost shrimp ?

All info will seriously take into account

Personally, I'd move it to QT, no other fish, lower light level...get it eating, try everything food-wise

Anybody know that this is the Indian/Red Sea or the Pacific Regal angel?
Not that I care, but just interested since he is my fish.

I am looking at the Angle fish book by Scott Michael. Even with pictures and describtion there, I cannot tell if mine is Red Sea or Pacific, I think it is a baby Red Sea Regal angel

It's easy to tell. Look at the color of it's chest. If u send a better pic we can tell u. Red Sea have more orange chest. Indian Ocean have more yellow chest. Pacific have grey chest.
