These days, with civil war and Saudi invasion, there are coming none out of Yemen, nether juveniles nor adults nor anything else.

By my information these days all Red Sea fish and corals come out of Somalia.

Interesting, I wouldn't think that Somalis wouldn't be allowed to collect fish from other countries waters since territorial waters for them is the Gulf of Aden. I suppose there are plenty of Regals there too.

Sorry, I might have confused that with Sudan. I know it is one of the countries that the US government considers a terrorist supporting state. For that reason all their shipments come in over relay hubs like Sri Lanka.

I have a regal that has been with me for 3 years. Upgraded to a 180 in the spring.

He has recently started some head twitching and occasional bursts of spastic/erratic swimming. I recently added a wrasse that went through an observational QT, but did not get prophylactically treated for anything. Now I'm wondering if the wrasse brought in flukes. I'm thinking of treating the whole DT with prazi-pro - seem like a good idea?

Man treating a DT with Prazipro is a pain in the posterior. You can't run your skimmer for a while and even then it will be picky and hard to tune for a while. If you can catch a fish you think is affected you can do a freshwater dip and confirm the diagnosis.

I'm leaving town for a week on tuesday. I don't want to treat the tank before going out of town, but I am worried about putting off action for 10 days. Would it be better to leave him alone and treat when I get back, or maybe do a FW dip on him tomorrow before leaving town?

That one looks pretty young.
How big is it and where did you find it?

My new regal is still hiding in the caves and so far hasn't shown any interest in food. I have not even seen it picking on the rocks.

It came from quality marine. It was a small one from the Red Sea. Those are 1.5" pipes and it was about 2" when I got him, about 2.5" now

That's a nice size and more like what I'm looking for. My 2 Philippine regal angels were precisely 3 inch when I got them, but I feel they have grown quite a bit since then. I will measure them again before they go into the new tank.
My new Red Sea regal is with almost 5 inch already quite big. She is still just hiding in the caves

I feel between 2 and 4 inches they acclimate better.

It's still not eating or behaving normally, just hiding listless in the rocks - I start to get worried.

My two Philippine Regals were taking food the next day and I had Maldives Regal that started eating right after I had them out of the bag and in their tank.

Though all those where fish I saw before in person and where I knew that they were alert and inquisitive before buying them.

This is the first regal I bought seeing it in person.

We've had our regal for about 15 months now and for the first 4 months I swear it only ate nori but now it eats like a pig (it is about 3-4" now). It has some larger tank mates (blue face and gold flake angel & sailfin tang) but definitely holds its own in spite of a size differential.

In your photos I see a bare bottom tank with no rock work. Might want to put it in an established tank.
