Regal angelfish compatibility

I have tried twice with smaller juveniles, one from NYAquatics and the other from my LFS both were around 1 1/2" and did not survive. My redsea juvenile ate like a pig the second day and was a little over 2" when I got her from Michael also. My bigger one came from my LFS on a special order.

My young Regal started out misbared but now essentially have normal bars

look at post #19, his stripes are not normal, one joined the other did not

Looking good. My was interrupted then it jointed like your's. Hard to take picture of mine since he is so shy.

I just put a blue line in with a regal just this week, so far they are getting along just fine, only time will tell. The blue line is just starting to get accustomed to the tank and his mates.

The regal looks pretty skinny. Does he eat? He's gonna need a lot of TLC and excessive feeding to recover.

It's for sure not the angle, he is thin in the back.
But if he is eating well he should recover within a month or two. Just make sure to feed him well.
