My remora pro has gone crazy it just wont stop pumping out about a galon in about 2 minuts its on the highest as posible. its been doing it for about 2 days now and i dont know what to do im about to cry:(

Have you added anything to the water lately? The biggest trouble makers for skimmers are water conditioners like Stress Coat, etc or some of the Red Slime remover products sometimes freak them out.

If you didn't add any chemicals to the water lately, then only thing I can think of is the return, where the water comes out is not flowing freely, has some type of back pressure causing it to rise the water level?

Hope this helps.

i added chemi clean. but it acted up before that what should i do. do i need to do a water change what is causing this to screw up im very upset and angry right now. What do i do the water level is good at the return. what do i do. it started when i added whater i think it was ro water but im not sure. should i do a big water change?

If it's a water conditioner, usually about 48 hours will just fade out. Small water change might help, might just have to wait couple days though.

do i let the skimmate leave the tank of do i just let it go back to the tank i did a 25% water change. Should i get some carbon and throw it in? Any other thing i need to do?

Carbon might help. I would probably just shut the skimmer off, or maybe just remove the collection cup and let it just run.

I would say if you still have that problem after 2-3 days, i would contact Aquac at proteinskimmer.com and see if they have any other thing to try, possibly a clogged injector or something along those lines.

i took it off and cleaned everything also i am getting ubber micro bubbles. Im so confused. I thank you for your help and i am thinking about purchasing one of those skimmer boxes for it. would you recomend one? its just so large i dont want it to make my tank look bad

The skimmer boxes will help with any micro bubbles. You would get more micro bubbles then normal with the chemicals in the water though, so you might not need it. I would wait until the skimmer settles back down and then decide.
