Return pump recommendation for dream project

I would like return pump recommendation for a dream project want to put 1000 gallon common sump in Space under house that looks to be old rootceller..Approx 5ft for 1st verirtical lift 20ft or so horizontal run to farest tank the approx 6ft vertical lift to top of tank..There will be 7tanks connected to this sump setup...Pump wizards please chime in

The plumbing will be encased in insulated housing and the sump area will be sealed off from the crawl space and house under side of flooring and will be climate controlled with exhaust venting to outside air

What size display tanks?
You want 1 pump to feed all 7 tanks? or a pump for each?

I think you could do it with 1 or 2 strong pumps like external Iwakis using a manifold (gate valves) to direct water back to each tank for precise control. An ATO would be critical of course. I'd also suggest a camera or two in the sump room so you can see what is going on remotely. I think I might also put a gate valve at the tank for each return to fine tune it if needed.

Not going to discuss the matter of what happens with one tank now happen with another!

With that much needed head, you may want to look into a heavy duty pond pump. Not only do they have tremendous power to lift water, but they are work horses designed for less than friendly environments (sticks, mud, rocks, chunks of sand, insects...)

I my experience they coast a fraction of the price than a salt water pump, and work three times the job. Leaves more than enough money to buy a spare pump just in case there is a catastrophic failure years down the road.

I use an Iwaki 100 and pump 8 feet vertical and 15 feet horizontal. I have a lot of 45's in the plumbing and they take a lot of pressure.

I use an Iwaki 100 and pump 8 feet vertical and 15 feet horizontal. I have a lot of 45's in the plumbing and they take a lot of pressure.

The Iwaki is a beast of a pump and handles head pressure really well. I had one plumbed with nearly 25 feet of head with no issues...ever. Ran for five years almost constantly until I tore the tank down.

My flow rate is about 870, pipe diameter is .75. There will be flow loss from head pressure.
