Reviving old base and fiji rock - been sitting outside a decade?

When I got out of the hobby about 10 years ago, I piled up my base, live, fiji rock at the edge of my property on a pallet. Today I pulled some out and put in a wheelbarrow in hopes that someone here could give me a good direction and plan how to get it back to a usable state.

I've attached some pictures of the best and worst of it.

Let me know what you would do. Thank you all!

I would sit it in a tub with bleach and water then place it in a tub with regular water and declorinate the water. Then throw it in a tub with rodi salt water

Pressure wash it and use it. I have a pile of rock in the corner of my veggie garden. If I need a piece, I go out, grab it, PW it, and use it. Never had a problem.

Thanks for all the input.

I've pressure washed it and I've done the muriatic acid bath today. I'm now letting it dry before bleaching for a week. The final step will be a natural cure

Some really good video's helped me.

I was surprised that the muriatic acid didn't strip more off. It was very active, but was expecting a more aggressive result.

Bleach next...

When you get it all conditioned, just acquire a small live rock from a trusted tank and let it cycle and bloom with all it brings. I've never been unhappy with what I got.

I just did this same thing with Fiji/Tonga from 2005. I took a brush and scrubbed the gunk off and rinsed the rocks. Then cycled with a live bacteria cycling product. Fish and inverts are happy.

All good advice here.
Just make sure nothing got one it like chemicals or weed killer. If you are not sure do not use it.

Same. Fiji rock from 1999. I just pressure washed it and that was it.

Acid will remove anywhere from 12 - 20% of the rock.
