Rhomboid Fairy wrasse

Hey guys I just picked up a beautiful male rhomboid fairy wrasse from Divers den liveaquaria. My previous rhomboid just croaked on me so i picked up this bad boy. Question, is this a supermale coloration? Rhomboids are probably one of my favorite fairy wrasses and I was glad I can jump on him asap when he was available tonight.

aghh you got that fish i saw it and was trying to get it too..don't know if it is a supermale or not but a nice looking rhomboid for sure..best of luck with it..with a nice fish like that i am sure you will be happy

I was trying to type my info in and pressed finalize and it was gone. I'm glad its going to you Scott. I'm going to have to leave my imfo registered I guess.. Great looking fish, I wondered who got it.

LOL this like sniping on Ebay.

And I was one of the loser also...

Best of luck with him! Very awesome fish.

Thanks guys!! I was really down when my rhomboid passed on me and I been looking for a nice male. I see they had some sub males/females available but I rather wait and pay a little more for a nice looking male. The males are just stunning! I didn't go the computer route in ordering. I ordered through the phone. I think its easier to do it that way and quicker to grab that specimen. The nice looking specimens seem to go in a blink of an eye if you don't act quick!!

All you guys were after it too!! After I lost my SM I really miss him. I'd say it is close but not quite.

Great pick up there bro. Sorry to hear you lost your last one though. Also per you question if it's a super male. No it isn't unfortionally but it is a very very nice male you picked up.

I am pretty new to the rhomboid game and I am really interested in them. Anyone have some good reading on them?

Thanks

does anyone have a picture of a supermale? this one is probably the most colorful rhomboid that i've seen and i'd love to see how a supermale differs.

this is pretty close. Brian green had a huge 6" male that was the biggest one i have ever seen.

Thanks!! The one that came in from Liveaquaria is alot more beautiful than the pic shows. He has alot of blue all over his body. My male flame gave him some dirty looks but they are getting along great now. The Flame still tails him around flaring up know and then but it seems like its all bark but no bite.
