Is the 1/4" glass thickness a typo? If it isn't, you are nuts to even consider putting water in a tank that size with 1/4" glass, especially without bracing!
+1 one on that. 1/2" is minimum.

I agree, it can be somewhat confusing...I am getting ready to start a new tank and I am sooo intriqued by rimless.
What I don't get is how some manufacturers are making rimless 1/2" glass tanks while others are using 3/4" with a rim or bracing.
Either someone is overengineering their tanks or in few years the rimless tanks are going to start falling apart.
